- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Years ago, I rented a room from a property managed by BPB. It was my first place of my own, in 1989 or 1990. A wee, tiny room on the third floor - but it had it's own bathroom, and it was _mine_, so I was absolutely thrilled. In August of that year, however, one pane of the sole window was broken in a storm. I ended up with a triangular hole, open to the world and a good six by six by 8 or 9 inches. And when I finally moved out, in January of the following year, it was still broken - only a piece of cardboard and some duck tape keeping the elements (and critters) out, and my heat IN.
